Last Monday, I went to Bunbury Farmer’s Market. I asked my uni’s advisor for advice, and she told me to go there in the evening because most of them are discounted. However, the last bus to go to our campus leave before 6:00 p.m., so it was hard to stay there until close time. So, my friend and I planned to go in the afternoon. I have ever passed the street because my roommate took me to Eaton on the last day, but it was the first time to visit there. The place was well-designed and looked awesome. Firstly, I saw fresh vegetables and fruits, and then, lots of kinds of fish and meats, cheese, dairy products, cakes, nuts and so on. It was an amazing place for me to see around. For example, I found more than five kinds of apples, and each kind has mountains. Also, there are some rare fruits and vegetables, too. For instance, pomegranates, watermelons, many kinds of mangoes, and so on. Also, all of their qualities were absolutely good. I bought kiwi fruits nearest Coles, but the farmer’s market’s one was much bigger and not so soft. I prefer this place’s one to ordinary supermarkets. Also, some vegetables were more expensive than Coles, however, some were much cheap. One example of them is “cabbage”. I usually bought them $5.9 for each, however, there was $3.5. Moreover, this cabbage was fresher than the usual one.
Next, I was surprised about the curry area. There were more than 10 kinds of curry, and all of them looked yum. I bought Thai chicken curry, and it was spicy, but there was still milky. The balance was perfect. Also, there was some discounted merchandise even though it was around4:00p.m. After that, I saw the bakery area, but almost all the bread was gone. Though, I found half-priced lemon cream doughnuts and apple cranberry cupcakes. I was thinking for a long time about which to buy, but finally, I bought cupcakes. The cupcakes were fluffy, and not as sweet as chocolate cupcakes in Coles, so many Japanese people will like them. I tasted a great balance of apple, cranberry, and cinnamon flavour.
In this way, I really enjoyed Bunbury Farmer’s Market. In this time, I visited there by bus, but I found that it is possible to go there on foot for around 1 hour. Thank google for showing this information! lol See you next week!!
