Study in Australia 11 – With Loads of Animals

Overseas

Today, I went to Brunswick Show (https://www.brunswickshow.com.au/) with my friends and buddy, Samantha.

Animal nursery

She lives there, so she drove us to visit there. I really appreciate that. She told me that Brunswick is famous for livestock, and while driving I saw huge land with horses, sheep, and cattle. After we arrived at the festival, we enter the animal nursery. There were so many kinds of baby animals, and we patted them. For example, rabbits, snakes, ducks, parakeets, chicken chicks, goats, ponies, alpacas, turkeys, sheep, and so on. Also, they all were so cute. Especially, it was the first time for me to see and pat a turkey.

Amusement park

Secondly, we looked around the amusement park area and enjoyed a kite-like spinning ride. It was higher than I expected, also the wind made me refreshed. Next, I enjoyed a spinning machine to feel the centrifugal force. This one spun so fast that I could not move my body, and I felt my blood gather on my head. It was surprising that all the rides are movable.

Lunch

Thirdly, we bought paella for our lunch, and eat them with listening to Bunbury Band’s playing. The paella we ordered was too heavy than we expected, but I enjoyed the taste of rice, sausages, paprikas, and onion springs. Samantha’s friends are in Bunbury City Band, and she plays the tuba. It was so big, and I really look up to her because she is such a strong woman who can play such a heavy-look musical instrument.

Camel riding

Lastly, we rode a camel. It was the first time for me in 15 years. (Actually, I rode a camel in AUSTRALIA when I was a five-year-old kid.) The camel had long eyelashes, so I felt jealous. Also, the way she walks is shaking, but her lovely face and hair healed my mind.

Totally, I really enjoyed the day in the countryside. Before I visit Brunswick, I felt Bunbury was the countryside, but it isn’t. Of course, Perth is much busier than Bunbury, but we don’t have such a calm, huge place with lots of animals. I hope I want to visit such a grate place, again. See you next time!
